Assyrian Christmas Greeting!

When Tommy Mirza, an Assyrian from Australia who interviewed me for his website http://www.myoomta.com/interview/nineveh-dinha.html asked me to wish Assyrians a Merry Christmas in our native language on Fox 13's morning show and then post in on youtube so that he could see it, I never imagined that it would generate so many hits in just one week *over 9,000*! I also never thought I'd get a flood of emails from Assyrians across the globe, but I did. I got a tremendous amount of support, kinds words and thanks from so many Assyrians. The youtube greeting even connected me to a fellow Assyrian journalist that works for CNN International. Gotta love the internet, right?

I just want to say, as cheesy as it may sound, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the continued support. Wishing you a Merry Christmas in Assyrian is the least I can do for the community. I should be thanking you. Thank YOU!

In case you missed it, here's the youtube clip!

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further advances, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.

But Wednesday was not Real’s night; the team lost the first leg at France and had to make 2 goals in order to advance. And at home, there seemed to be real possibility. camiseta real madrid In the match against Zaragoza, Real Madrid dominated the game from the first minute, coming close to scoring at minute 2 when Cristiano Ronaldo missed a clear option after goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez cleared the shot from the Portuguese. Minutes later, the Whites kept control of the ball while Real Zaragoza was trying to close the spaces and the opportunities for the Meringues in their area.

"We played well; things are going well for me and for Real Madrid. Barcelona are doing well at the moment and not dropping points but we just have to continue winning our games," stated Kaká. karim benzema The second goal of the night came after Xabi sent a pass to the edge of the box, from which Messi drove a precise, angled left-footed shot into the far corner of the net. Then, left alone in the penalty area, Gerard Picque took a pass from Ibrahimovic and finished the play with an easy throw that passed the goalkeeper and moved the score to 3-0.
